Sports Illustrated, Joe Agency Announce Partnership

Maven Media Brands and Sports Illustrated announced a partnership today with the award-winning Joe Agency to produce and market content about athletes whose stories are traditionally underrepresented in U.S. media.

SI and Joe will collaborate to elevate highly personal sports storytelling about the cultural influences that drive players, their families, and communities.
Joe Agency will leverage its access to key sports influencers, developing content across platforms about Latinx, black American, Asian American, LGBTQ, and physically disadvantaged athletes.

Freeform reminds us that our Latino Heritage must be celebrated #MasQueUnMes

Emily Tosta, Niko Guardado, Brandon Larracuete, and Dany Trejo are just some of the Freeform stars that joined the Latino Heritage Month celebration. But for both Freeform and Joe Agency, our heritage deserves more than that. It needs to be remembered, recognized and preserved the whole year-round. It’s more than a month to be, that’s why “#MasQueUnMes” campaign some of Freeform’s biggest stars talk about their heritage, what being Latino means to them and the importance of our culture in the United States.

The MLB and Joe Agency celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month in a very unique way!

Representation and visibility in the world of sports and entertainment is more important than ever. To showcase how important are Latino players, the MLB partnered with us to celebrate the Hispanic Heritage Month alongside Yasiel Puig, right fielder for the Cleveland Indians. He kindly opened up his home and talked to us about his beginnings as a player back in Cuba and how his mother makes his favorite pre-game meal: “Beef with Rice and Beans”. A Cuban recipe Yasiel can’t live without.
